Cairo - Mubasher: Egypt's net international reserves increased by $20 million to $40.6 billion at the end of July, compared to $40.58 billion at the end of June, according to data by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) on Wednesday.

In June, the International Monetary Fund's (IMF) executive board completed the second and final review of Egypts economic reform program supported by a 12-month stand-by agreement (SBA), allowing the country to receive $1.7 billion, which is the third tranche of the $5.4 billion loan.

In May 2020, Egypt secured a $2.7 billion loan from the IMF under the rapid financing instrument (RFI).
