UAE - The Dubai Municipality said on Monday that three businesses were closed for violating health safety rules.

In its Sunday inspection report, the Dubai Municipality said it conducted 2,319 inspection visits. The entities inspected registered a safety compliance rate of 98 per cent.

However, a fitness centre, shisha cafe and laundry were closed for failing to adhere to precautionary measures.

The civic body issued 36 warnings.
