AMMAN Jordans trade balance surplus with the US stood at JD231 million by the end of the third quarter of 2020, the Department of Statistics (DoS) announced on Thursday. The value of national exports to the US in the January-September period has dropped by 11.2 per cent to reach JD932 million, compared with the same period last year, which amounted to JD1.049 billion, according to the DoS monthly report cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Meanwhile, the Kingdom's imports from the US also went down over the first nine months by 22.4 per cent to reach JD701 million, compared with the same period last year, which amounted to JD903 million, according to the DoS data.
