MOSCOW - Igor Sechin, the head of Russia's largest oil producer Rosneft, met Saudi Energy Minister Khalid al-Falih and discussed swapping supplies of heavy grades for oil refineries, Rosneft said in a statement on Friday.

Sechin said in a statement Russia, Saudi Arabia and other countries had stabilised the situation on the global oil market.

"The increase in prices to a comfortable level of $70-80 per barrel of Brent crude oil is a result with which we are completely satisfied," Sechin said in a statement.
