Aya pursued an MBA in Strategic Planning from Edinburgh Business School, and she has extensive experience in scaling operations rapidly. During her 6 years career at Rocket Internet, Aya has lead multiple teams to achieving exemplary performance across all business metrics.

Competition between the two firms has intensified in the past few years as the fight for market dominance. Earlier this year, Aqarmap raised growth funds from 3 regional VCs to solidify its leadership position in Egypt and to expand further in the region.
