China's Zhongman Petroleum and Natural Gas Group announced on Wednesday that its subsidiary has been awarded an oilfield drilling contract in Iraq.
 
The company said in a stock exchange statement that its wholly owned subsidiary Zhongman Petroleum Engineering Technology Service (Hong Kong) and Schlumberger Middle East have signed drilling project contract worth $24.5 million (approximately 158 million RMB) for the Zubair oilfield in Iraq.
 
The contract duration is for three years, the statement said.
