ABU DHABI - Abu Dhabi General Services Company, Musanada, in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge, ADEK, has commenced construction of two kindergartens at Zakher and Al Maqam areas in Al Ain.

Affirming observation of environmental sustainability requirements and preserving multiple energy resources, Musanada said that the AED85.5 million two kindergartens will have a total built-up area of approximately 12.4 thousand square metres, said a Musanada press release on Monday.

These two projects form part of Musanada’s efforts to realise the vision of the UAE's leadership towards delivering projects that avail facilities aligned to the Emirate’s advanced educational level, creating an environment that will motivate students to explore their full potentials and capabilities.

The projects are part of the Abu Dhabi Future Schools Programme featuring best practices and specifications, be it in the design of classrooms, multipurpose halls, or the provision of an appropriate and attractive educational environment to cater to the needs of future generations.

The design of the two facilities is aligned to the 2-pearl Estidama’s sustainability rating stipulated by the Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities. This rating is meant for buildings that enhance the efficiency of energy use, with the emphasis also being on that all the materials and equipment used should be compliant with the latest sustainability specifications.
