AMMAN - The Jordan Investment Commission (JIC) on Wednesday signed a memorandum of cooperation with Amman Vision Investment & Development (AVID) with the aim of enhancing partnership in the field of surveying and promoting investment opportunities and exchanging project descriptions and feasibility studies.

The agreement was signed by JIC Chairman Khaled Wazani and Chairman of the AVID Board of Directors Yousef Shawarbeh, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Shawarbeh said that AVID is the main developer of lands and investment licences owned by the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), and provides investment opportunities in land and assets.

He added that the memorandum will promote investment opportunities for GAM. For his part, Wazani said that the JIC will promote Jordan’s investment opportunities within a set of opportunities prepared in cooperation with the public and private sectors locally and abroad.
