MANAMA: Jeyapriya Partiban has been appointed as head of advisory for KPMG in Bahrain with effect from the start of this month.

The firm announced yesterday that Ms Partiban will be responsible for driving growth and performance across the advisory business.

She will continue in her role as member of the board of KPMG in Bahrain and as the firm’s advisory partner leading the risk consulting practice.

Ms Partiban’s area of specialisation includes governance (corporate and family), forensics, internal audit, compliance, operations consulting, people and change, and overall risk consulting, with a career journey spanning over two decades with KPMG in Malaysia and Bahrain.

She holds the professional qualification of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in addition to being a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).

In her career with KPMG, Ms Partiban has worked with regulators and private and public sector organisations in more than 20 countries.
