Dubai: In support of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Fakih IVF Fertility Center seeks to reach out to all women battling the disease by helping preserve their fertility and fulfill their dream of starting a family.

Throughout the month of October, the fertility center is running a “Together We Are Stronger” campaign, to honor these patients and strive hard to help them so that cancer does not take away their dream of motherhood. As part of the initiative patients can avail a free consultation on their first visit to the center while also benefiting from several other services offered all month.

Dr. Michael Fakih, Medical Director of Fakih IVF said, “Cancer treatments such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy can considerably harm a woman’s fertility. These treatments are conducted to target cancer cells but also cause considerable damage to the normal cells in the body, reducing the chances of conception. This coupled with all the side-effects the treatment brings with it makes the whole process an ordeal for women looking to embrace motherhood. At Fakih IVF we understand the impact of this experience on women and wish to reach out to every women by offering the best of our treatment facilities.”

Egg freezing is beneficial to preserve the quality of eggs before undergoing any invasive medical treatments. That way, women can proceed with their treatment, knowing that they still have a chance of fulfilling their dream of motherhood upon completion of treatment.

Additionally, as part of their services Fakih IVF will be providing all women eligible to have their eggs frozen, a 10 percent discount for the procedure. Women fighting breast cancer can benefit from a 50 percent discount on egg freezing during this month. These offers can be availed until the end of the month at the center’s branches located in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Al Ain.

Fakih IVF Fertility Center is one of the leading Infertility, Gynecology, Obstetrics, Genetics and IVF centers in the GCC region with centers in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Dubai. With several state-of-the-art technologies, the center is continually advancing in the field of reproductive medicine across the region.
