The utility said in a press statement that the 46-storey tower would be serviced with a total cooling capacity of 1,522 Refrigeration Tonnes (RT).
Empower CEO Ahmad Bin Shafar said the district cooling service for One JBR Tower and the penthouse units is connected from Empower's permanent plant located in the JBR area.
The project is scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2019, according to Dubai Properties' website.
