UAE - All flights between Dubai and Kuwait will arrive and depart from Kuwait's new terminal from Wednesday, August 15, 2018.

"The launch of Terminal 4 will be on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, for all flights departing to and arriving from Dubai. All passengers departing to Dubai and everyone picking up passengers arriving from Dubai must head directly to a Terminal 4 building," Kuwait Airways said in a statement.

"We request passengers on flights to and from Dubai to go directly to T4, and special buses are provided to transport passengers from building 1 to T4 if needs be," the airline said in tweet.

Interestingly, Emirates operates the world's shortest A380 route from Dubai to Kuwait.

In another development, Press Trust of India said a Kuwait Airways flight carrying 161 passengers landed off the centre from the runway at the international airport in Kochi as sudden downpour caused visibility problems.

Quoting an airport source, it said that the aircraft landed at 4:20am, but a little off the centre of the runway, making contact with the lights at the edge before taxiing to the parking bay.

Flight operations were disrupted for a brief time and resumed minutes after 'cleaning and correcting' the runway lights.
