The new headquarter building of Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) is expected to top out by the end of 2020, a top bank official said.

CBI's director general of administration Saleh Mahood Salman told Zawya Projects that construction work has reached the level of sixth floor. The finishing of the elevations is expected to start by mid-2020 and include the podium's steel roofing.

Salman said 700 workers and engineers are working on the 170-metre tower.
