BizWorld Egypt, a new social-enterprise which provides entrepreneurship education programs for elementary and middle school children, recently launched its operations in Egypt implementing pilot programs in Cairo in partnership with Muricata, a local youth development organization founded by Egyptian adventurer and entrepreneur Omar Samra. Muricata believes in the power of alternative learning experiences and their contribution towards positively impacting youth ’s characters, developing their skills and knowledge to grow into world keepers.

BizWorld Egypt is spearheaded by Jordanian businesswoman Helen Al-Uzaizi who also established BizWorld Jordan and BizWorld UAE under the regional Future Entrepreneurs umbrella. BizWorld Egypt aims to nurture children’s entrepreneurial spirit and develop their leadership skills through comprehensive entrepreneurship and basic business exercises specially designed for students between the ages of seven to 15. The programs specifically focus on developing students’ creative thinking and problem-solving skills in addition to building their resilience and self-confidence. The programs also focus on instilling a sense of optimism, empathy, and the importance of giving back to the community.

Omar Samra, adventurer, entrepreneur and UNPD ambassador, is the CEO and founder of Muricata.
