Bahrain’s new hi-tech air traffic control centre building will be ready and delivered by the end of this year.

Transportation and Telecommunications Minister Kamal Ahmed yesterday toured the building and was briefed on final stages of work.

“The building will be among the most modern air control centres in the region as it has been designed according to high engineering and technical standards and equipped with the most advanced air-traffic control equipment,” he said.
