The Legal Business Awards are now in their 19th Year and are widely considered to be amongst the most prestigious across the industry worldwide. The award was presented to Stephen Lansdown, Head of Office, Qatar and Angela Maglieri, Marketing & Business Development Director at the Legal Business Awards dinner, held at London's iconic Grosvenor House on Thursday 7th April.
In reaching their decision, the panel of judges needed to see "clear evidence of growing market share, a well-conceived business strategy, stellar financial performance, strong management, a successful recruitment and retention strategy and a significant client development programme." Al Tamimi's submission addressed all of these criteria.
To meet them, the firm was able to point to a network of 16 offices strategically located in the key business hubs of 9 countries around the region; an increase in assets and rise in income over the last year; a strategic vision founded on the ability to recognise growth markets and opportunities and to focus on ways of improving the firm's service offering; a business winning methodology which saw the firm expand its client portfolio to include almost 1,500 new clients in the past 12 months; and a staff training and incentivisation programme which encourages career development and celebrates achievements.
