MANAMA: Ahli United Bank has unveiled a one-of-its-kind service geared towards the SME community.
Named Al-Tajer, the new offering serves as a one-stop shop where SMEs can find the right tools to expand and prosper.
The service seeks to empower local SMEs with the means to grow sales by adding electronic payment channels, and expand their business by finding the right partners, implementing digital transformation, and securing loans.
Offered at preferential rates, the range of services includes access to digital marketplaces, website designing, office supplies and accountancy, integrating an e-payment gateway, transacting online and accepting PoS payments securely.
Financial tools like emergency cash support, 24/7 cash deposits, loans against PoS receivables, acceptance of international payments, and a credit card are also provided under the service.
Al-Tajer offers a specialised deposit card, which not only eliminates the need to visit a branch, but also provides real-time credit, and protects against unauthorised withdrawals.
The service was designed with the diversity of the SME ecosystem in mind, accommodating everything from fintech start-ups to established family businesses.
Larger businesses can go further with import and export facilities, ERP integration, support for direct debit, as well as support for bulk transactions, like vendor payments, payroll, and receivables.
The platform is supported by the bank’s dedicated business app, AUB MyB2B, available for both iOS and Android.
