Police to protect the rights of the public to a safe environment

ABU DHABI, 30th December, 2017 (WAM) -- Abu Dhabi Police are intensify patrolling all around the emirate during the New Year festivities and a comprehensive plan has been in place to ensure traffic smoothness and people's safety.

Brigadier-General Khalifa Mohamed Al Khaili, Director of the Abu Dhabi Police Directorate, has urged late-night and early-morning drivers to strictly abide by traffic rules and instructions, including speed limits, use of safety belts, keeping safety distance and avoiding distractions in order to ensure their and their loved ones' safety.

He accentuated Abu Dhabi Police's keenness to spare no effort in order to minimise accident causing- conditions and protect the rights of the public to a safe environment.
