UAE - Abu Dhabi General Services Company (Musanada) said the work on its Dh1.3 billion ($354 million) residential community in Al Dhafra Region is progressing well and on track for completion by the end of next year.

The Mirfa Beach Villa Housing Complex is being implemented by Musanada, in co-operation with Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, Al Dhafra Municipality, Abu Dhabi Distribution Company, and the Abu Dhabi Sewerage Services Company.

The 410-strong residential community, which will come up over a 2.2 million-sq-m area in Al Dhafra Region, boasts four mosques, 12 public parks, six markets, a public beach, and a women-only beach.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region, recently visited the project site where he was briefed by Suwaidan Al Dhaheri, CEO of Musanada, about the infrastructure work. He later viewed the design of a five-bedroom villa measuring 556 sq m.

The scope of work includes building roads, street lights, rainwater drainage, and infrastructure work for communication lines, sewage networks, as well as water and electricity supply.-TradeArabia News Service
