Abu Dhabi – United Arab Emirates: The 2nd edition of Emirates Academy of Dermatology, Aesthetics and Laser Conference & Exhibition – Emirates Derma, begins Thursday 18th of October and continues until 20th of October at the Beach Rotana Hotel in Abu Dhabi with the participation of 300 local and international experts and specialists in the field.

The conference agenda this year features 59 scientific sessions and witnesses the participation of 44 speakers from 23 countries from the region and the world. The sessions will focus on a number of key topics related to skin health such as:  Aesthetic Medicine, Anti-Aging, Dermatology, Fillers & Botox, Hair Course, Lasers, Plastic Surgery, Psoriasis and Vitiligo to name a few. In addition, an exhibition running parallel to the conference, will offer 12 participating companies a platform to showcase their latest products, innovative technologies and equipment.

Emirates Derma this year will also discuss facial injectables and why certain procedures such as fillers, bio-stimulators and face modulators are achieving consistent results and delivering patient satisfaction. The 3-day conference and exhibition, will shed new light on the latest advances in cosmetic dermatology, plastic surgery, facial aesthetics and the evolving field of anti-ageing. Moreover, delegates and specialists in the skincare industry will have a chance to gain 18 CME credit hours from UAE University, while also getting an opportunity to interact and engage with the best minds in the field of Dermatology from across the globe.

For the first time in the UAE, the conference will feature a two-day special gathering of experts in injectors, with the introduction of the ‘Emirates Injection Boot Camp (EIBC), continuing a successful Boot Camp series in the UAE and abroad. The highlight of this year’s Bootcamp is a dedicated discussion on ‘Soft Tissue Augmentation and Injectables’ while at the same time featuring lectures, live demonstrations, presented by local and international expert speakers.

As the world of facial aesthetics and injectables is undergoing rapid advances with a huge array of options and new products exploding the skincare market, Emirates Derma, aims to put the spotlight on how these minimally invasive procedures such as facial injectables are increasingly considered safer and more cost effective while at the same time achieving the same goals of plastic surgery, which restores a youthful look without causing any long-term side effects on the skin.

Emirates Derma conference and exhibition is organized by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions – a member of INDEX Holding in collaboration with Emirates Academy of Dermatology, Aesthetics and Laser (EADAL) and supported by Pan Arab League of Dermatology, Arab Academy of Dermatology & Aesthetics and GCC League of Dermatologists.
