Bahrain  - A new BD3.8 million health clinic will be built in Muharraq.

BBK has financed the centre in Galali.

Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam Khalaf signed the contract with BBK board of directors chairman Murad Ali Murad at the ministry’s headquarters.

Health Minister Faeqa Al Saleh, BBK group chief executive Dr Abdulrahman Ali Saif and a number of officials were present. The project is expected to be completed in 30 months.

It will feature 14 consultation rooms, eight dental clinics and an observation room in the emergency department with 12 beds.

It will also have an isolation room, a unit for pregnant women, a child care centre, a laboratory, pharmacy as well as support services and parking. The centre will also offer early screening for breast cancer.
