Egyptian developer Mardev Developments has started constructing its 250 million pounds ($16 million) Skylight Mall in the New Administrative Capital (NAC), the company's CEO said.

Mohamed Zohdy told Zawya Projects that the two-storey mall, spread over 3,000 square metres, will include 83 stores and is scheduled for completion by the end-2022.

ACE Arab Consulting Engineers is the main consultant.

Zohdy said the developer has also launched the 200-unit third phase of its Menorca residential project in the NAC.

He added that the company would invest 400 million pounds ($25 million) into both projects during 2021.
