Invitation-only event will leverage leading international and regional entrepreneurs to share key business practices, personal experiences covering a wide range of industries
The Dubai Chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) has announced the dates and venue for its next TiE Dubai Summit: 13 March 2019 at Dubai Knowledge Village Auditorium. The theme of this year’s summit is “Strive” that will focus on building a sustainable and successful companies, focusing on growth strategies. TiE Dubai Summit is an invitation only event and brings together the brightest minds from all over the world, including entrepreneurs, investors, professionals, thought leaders and key government stakeholders, with participation from members from more than a dozen countries throughout the TiE Global Network.
 
Ziad Matar, President of TiE Dubai, said, “We are seeing extraordinary focus on entrepreneurship and innovation across the region with initiatives coming from the government levels. Our annual summit gives us the opportunity to share these initiatives and messages from our leading figures from our ecosystem with the rest of our start up and business community. We have an exciting line-up and are pleased to have the support of leading players in the business community.”
 
More than 300 participants, qualified through a registration process, will gather for the day-long convention and attend some of the various sessions in the program with topics revolving around key entrepreneurship trends, opportunities and challenges, across multiple sectors and disciplines.
 
TiE Dubai will also be announcing the second round of its TiE Mentorship Program, a structured program developed based on best practices researched across the global TiE network. In addition, TiE Dubai will announce two new initiatives that aim to extend support to entrepreneurs that fall below the radar.
 
Matar added, "Since all our events are community driven (and led), we are grateful for the continued the support of our strategic partners, Dubai Internet City and in5 Tech, chapter sponsors, du, and our academic partner, Skyline University College. We also would like to thank our team of volunteers from within the TiE Dubai community that help to put this event together."
