Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA), the largest healthcare network in the UAE, today announced the first ever Al Dhafra Hospitals Health Forum in Madinat Zayed. Held under the patronage of the Ruler’s Representative Court in Al Dhafra Region, the two-day event will be hosted under the theme of “Al Dhafra a Healthy Community”. The two-day event will combine a series of interactive events and exhibitions for the community, as well as a medical conference and workshops for healthcare professionals. 

Speaking about the event, Hamad Khamis Almansoori, Chief Executive Officer, Al Dhafra Hospitals CEO Office, said, “At SEHA, our goal is to provide the highest quality of healthcare to patients and improve their wellbeing, in line with the Abu Dhabi Vision 2030. At the first Al Dhafra Hospitals Forum, we want to engage our community through a series of activities while also connecting residents and doctors. The forum will also act as a platform providing healthcare professionals with new learnings, opportunities to share knowledge, and workshops which allow them to build capabilities.” 

The event taking place at the Baynounah Educational Complex will combine the education and development of the clinical staff and health awareness of the community and will provide a platform for companies and institutions to present their products and services to attendees.  Visitors to the forum will be able to experience numerous features including zones on healthy food, fitness, home safety and traffic safety.  The activities taking place will include interactive awareness sessions and lectures around different medical topics, specialized medical conferences and workshops, exhibitions, and practical training sessions. 

Participants at the event will also include governmental and non-governmental institutions, local community institutions, healthcare professionals, representatives of medical universities and colleges, and numerous healthcare entities from across the region.

Al Dhafra Hospitals operates a chain of six facilities, and serves the diverse medical needs of the community living and working in Al Dhafra Region (Abu Dhabi’s most remote communities) – from the far western corner of the UAE, to the inland desert border regions and the offshore islands.
