Amman, Jordan: Marriott International Hotels Group announced the appointment of Erden Kendigelen as Multi-Property General Manager for The St. Regis Amman and Al Manara, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Saraya Aqaba. A passionate hotel business leader and a veteran professional with an impeccable record of accomplishment, Erden brings with him remarkable knowledge and experience in Luxury segment and hotel industry. In his new role, he will oversee the complete operations and management of both hotels along with the senior leadership team, while to inspire and develop diverse teams of professionals to new levels of success.

Erden, a hotelier par excellence, with over 20 years of top luxury hotel leadership experience in legendary flagship hotels worldwide and of high-profile guest engagement, have had opportunity to develop the sophistication and interpersonal skills required in every challenging environment.

Marking the anticipated launch of The St. Regis Amman, a luxury hotel brand and the first St. Regis Hotel in the Kingdom of Jordan that will open in June, Erden was chosen for his outstanding achievement in leading several hotel pre-opening projects and for his profound experience internationally and the Middle East area.  Appointing him as Multi property General Manager of both The St. Regis Amman and Al Manara Hotel, is an attempt to combine effort to drive business in Jordan, and market share in Amman and Aqaba.

Prior to this assignment, Erden served as General Manager at The Ritz Carlton Doha – Qatar and held several leadership positions at Bellagio Resort & Casino Las Vegas, The Ritz Carlton hotels in New York-Central Park and Atlanta as well as The Ritz Carlton pre-openings at Los Angeles, Grand Cayman, Denver, Miami. Kendigelen recognized as one of the best and brightest business professionals in Las Vegas Market at VEGAS INC’s 13th annual Las Vegas 40 under 40.
