Cuisine solutions showcases its latest product portfolio for the GCC region on International Sous vide day

In honour of International Sous Vide Day, US-based brand, Cuisine Solutions hosted an opulent tasting experience at the Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, in Dubai on Sunday, the 26th of January. On this day for three consecutive years, Cuisine Solutions, the world’s leader as masters of sous vide, host events showcasing the French cooking technique with renowned chefs in Bangkok, Dubai, Paris, and Washington DC — the cities that Cuisine Solutions call home.

Guests explored the modern French roots of the cooking style where food is vacuum sealed and slow-cooked in water at precise temperatures until it’s perfectly cooked through, helping enhance the flavours of any cuisine. The culinary event featured sous vide beverages and dishes curated by innovative chefs, who drew inspiration from global culinary delights, with a touch of panache brought about through live cooking stations on the evening.

Each live station featured the innovation of fully-cooked sous vide dishes inspired by the culture and heritage of the locations that Cuisine Solutions operates across the world, inclusive of Washington DC, Paris, Bangkok and more. Passports were presented to guests, who stamped off their visited locations, as they sampled the unique sous-vide wares of each. Ceviche, snapper, sweet potato, corn and apple were some of the many flavour notes, experienced in an inventive manner over the course of the event.

Sous vide prepared items are gaining popularity world-wide and can be found in school programs, airlines, cruise ships, hotels, restaurants and retail locations. Recognizing the opportunity in 2019, Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC) and Cuisine Solutions (CSI) announced a joint venture for EKFC to become the UAE’s sole distributor of its sous vide products, under the name of Emirates Cuisine Solutions. The brand is currently operating in the UAE and now looking at an aggressive expansion in the Hotel/Restaurant/Café (HORECA) segment, across the GCC region for 2020.  Along with this, phase two of the partnership will see the establishment of the world’s largest halal sous vide manufacturing facility in Dubai expected to be operational in 2022. These regional efforts augment the firm’s global standing as a reputable partner to chefs and food businesses across a variety of dining experiences.

Cuisine Solutions offers a variety of products designed for professional kitchens, allowing chefs to focus on customizing and finishing. From seasonal and holiday items to breakfast and dinner products, their products sold in the Middle East and Africa are certified halal to cater to the unique needs of the market. Celebrating the occasion on International Sous Vide Day, was a fitting choice, as it marked the birthday of the firm’s Chief Scientist Dr. Bruno Goussault, renowned as the pioneer of the technique. Goussault has been at the forefront of the culinary field, recognised amidst the 100 visionaries by the Einstein Legacy Foundation, for his work and contribution to the field, through training Michelin chefs from across the globe. His efforts have laid the foundation for Cuisine Solutions to cement itself as an innovative firm of chefs, for chefs.
