Dubai, UAE: With the fast developing novel coronavirus (COVID-19) situation in the UAE, Al-Futtaim Health has launched a full scale COVID- 19 response plan in line with national and international best practice clinical guidelines to proactively prevent & reduce infection and intervene early. As a prominent player in the private healthcare arena, and part of Al-Futtaim Group, one of the most diversified and progressive companies in the UAE, Al-Futtaim Health felt it is their duty and responsibility to utilize the collective expertise of its healthcare professionals at the service of UAE citizens and residents during such challenging times. This initiative will focus on the early identification of infection, isolation and contact tracing to flatten the curve and reduce the rate of infection.
In response to COVID-19, Al-Futtaim HealthHub, A brand of Al-Futtaim Health is now offering Telehealth services when calling the clinics directly or on the HealthHub toll free 800 2344 for all patients for non-emergency services. This new initiative allows patients direct access to their doctor or healthcare provider via a telehealth system for all their chronic or non-emergency care. The service offers consultations and prescriptions that can be delivered right to the patient’s door via HealthHub Pharmacy.
In addition to the Telehealth initiative, HealthHub also provides an online self-assessment tool for COVID-19 virus and offers online video consultations for patients to interact with doctors directly while remaining safely at home during the #stayhome campaign. The Al-Futtaim Health call center lines remain open to address patient queries regarding current and future appointments while guiding them through the video consultation process.
For patients who still need to visit the clinics, operating hours are from 8am to 7pm on days of sanitization, and from 8am to 9pm on all other days. All Al-Futtaim Health clinics strictly adhere to the sanitization processes set by UAE government to ensure patient safety.
As advised by the DHA, Al-Futtaim Health would like to remind patients to remain vigilant and to adopt good personal hygiene practices and refrain from leaving their homes unless absolutely necessary. In these times, social distancing is highly advised for those who are exempt from home quarantine and must maintain a minimum distance of 2 meters.
