Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Sunday’s trading session on a positive note, supported by the increase in three sectors.

By 10:33 am Qatar time, the general index grew 0.24% to 9,470.9 points, adding 23.03 points.

The bourse's turnover amounted to QAR 27.9 million after 832,500 were exchanged through 774 transactions.

The real estate sector topped the QSE’s gainers adding 1.52% as Ezdan Holding Group rose 3.11%.

Similarly, the banking sector levelled up 0.60%, followed by the industrial sector, which grew 1.59%.

Meanwhile, the transportation sector headed the bourse’s four decliners falling 0.47%.

Qatar National Bank’s (QNB) stock, which advanced 0.91%, led the QSE in terms of liquidity with QAR 6.9 million, while Ezdan Holding Group’s stock spearheaded the market in terms of trading volume with 291,300 shares.
