KYIV- Ukrainian agriculture consultancy APK-Inform on Tuesday cut its forecast for Ukraine's 2020/21 grain harvest and exports due to poor weather.

The consultancy said it had cut the 2020 grain harvest outlook to 70 million tonnes, down 2% from its September forecast. Exports are seen down 0.5% at 50.9 million tonnes.

APK-Inform said the 2020 harvest could include 25.1 million tonnes of wheat, 34.8 million tonnes of corn and 8 million tonnes of barley.

It said Ukraine might export 17.5 million tonnes of wheat, 28.5 million tonnes of corn and 4.2 million tonnes of barley in the current 2020/21 season which runs from July to June.

The Ukrainian grain traders union UGA this week revised down its forecast for 2020/21 corn and barley exports.

Ukraine's grain exports have fallen 14% to 13.12 million tonnes so far in the season, economy ministry data showed on Monday.
