Mubasher: Kuwait’s Capital Markets Authority (CMA) resumed its two-day promotional tour in the US, organised in cooperation with Boursa Kuwait Securities Company (BKSC), the regulator said in a press release.

CMA plans to highlight current and future investment opportunities for asset management firms worldwide during the tour in New York City and Boston.

The tour seeks new opportunities to cooperate with the international investment society and attract more investments into Kuwaiti market, BKSC’s CEO Mohammed Saud Al Osaimi said.

During the tour, the CMA laid out for foreign investors the latest developments regarding BKSC and the broader Kuwaiti capital market, Al Osaimi said.

Earlier this year, the CMA announced the conclusion of the initial public offering (IPO) of its 50% stake in BKSC, with the share sale was oversubscribed by more than 8.5 times.
