JAKARTA- Indonesia Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Pandjaitan told Reuters on Tuesday that a revision to its mineral ore export rules is currently "being drafted".

The Indonesian government is discussing the possibility of moving forward a ban on exports of unprocessed mineral ores that is supposed to be implemented from 2022.

Pandjaitan, who also oversees the mining ministry, did not share details on how far the timetable would be moved up and said further details would be announced later.
