BUZZ-Crypto stocks fall as bitcoin rides Tesla roller coaster

** Cryptocurrency-linked stocks fall in premarket trade as tweets from Tesla boss Elon Musk spur wide swings in bitcoin and other cryptos

** Crypto exchange operator Coinbase drops 2%, while crypto miners Riot Blockchain and Marathon Digital Holdings shed 8% and 9.4%, respectively

** Bitcoin fell 9% to a more than three-month low, but rallied over 5% after Musk clarified TSLA had not sold its BTC holdings; Other cyptos such as ethereum and dogecoin mark similar movements, currently trading negative in line with BTC.

** Digital bank Silvergate Capital falls 5.6%, while crypto investor MicroStrategy Inc drops 6.2%

** Crypto stocks had posted steep losses last week after TSLA said it would stop accepting BTC as payment, BTC had tumbled more than 20%

** TSLA down 0.9% after a 12% loss last week
