The Bahrain health ministry on Monday reported 471 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 597 recoveries.

Four new deaths were also reported.

Of the new cases, 274 were among expatriate workers, 190 were contacts of active cases, and seven were travel related.

As many as 9,589 Covid-19 tests were carried out on July 12, the ministry said, adding that total recoveries now stand at 28,425, while deaths total 108.

There are currently 47 Covid-19 cases in a critical condition, and 118 cases receiving treatment. 4,361 cases are stable out of a total of 4,408 active cases.
