JEDDAH: A 24-hour curfew has been imposed in seven neighborhoods in the Jeddah governorate to prevent the spread of coronavirus, Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Interior announced on Saturday.

The curfew, which will be effective as of 03:00p.m. on Saturday, will apply to the following neighborhoods: Kilo 14 South, Kilo 14 North, Al-Mahjar, Ghulail, Al-Qurayyat, Kilo 13 and Petromin.

Entrance to and exit from these seven neighborhoods in the Jeddah governorate is forbidden but residents can leave their homes to receive health care and buy food in their area between 06:00a.m. and 03:00p.m.
