KUWAIT CITY0: The Ministry of Electricity and Water, with the participation of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Interior, carried out a campaign against the illegal chalets of fishermen overlooking the Kuwait Bay in Doha and Kazma areas, reports Al-Anba daily.

In a press statement, Deputy Head of the judicial team Ahmad Al-Shammari explained that the campaign was carried out based on a letter received from the Ministry of Finance regarding the need to disconnect electricity supply from chalets that are in violation of the Environmental Protection Law.

Since the start of the campaign, electricity was disconnected from nine violating chalets. The campaign is still ongoing to detect all chalets that are in violation of the laws in force in the country including environmental, hunting and other laws.
