KUWAIT CITY - The Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs, Ambassador Sami Al-Hamad, affirmed that “the Kuwaiti-Ethiopian joint working group on the proposed project negotiations regarding the Memorandum of Understanding on the recruitment of domestic workers ended in the first round about 90 percent of the memorandum of understanding.”

Al-Hamad said in a press statement yesterday, that “the two sides signed the minutes of the meeting, which ended 90 percent of the items in this memorandum.” He added that the negotiations took place smoothly and agreed upon by both sides, by ensuring the importance of the rights and duties of all parties concerned in this memorandum.

He explained that another negotiation session will be held between the two parties in the near future, until it is submitted to the relevant ministers in both countries, for the final signature of the memorandum of understanding
