KUWAIT CITY: The Director- General of the Public Authority for Manpower, Ahmad Al-Mousa, said PAM is ready to cooperate with the Pakistani embassy to increase the percentage of Pakistani workers in Kuwait, indicating a desire to coordinate with the concerned authorities in the country to set up more effective mechanisms to attract skilled Pakistani workers.

Al-Mousa said in a press statement after receiving the Pakistani Ambassador to Kuwait Syed Sajjad Haider and the deputy head of the mission T. Elias that the aim of the visit was to discuss issues of mutual interest and matters related to Pakistani labor and to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Pakistan and Kuwait.

For his part, the Pakistani ambassador affirmed that Kuwait has a privileged position among all Pakistanis and considers it a second country, wishing that the percentage of Pakistani workers in Kuwait will increase.

He pointed out that his country is ready to provide all the expertise and skills needed by the labor market in Kuwait.
