ArabFinance: Egypt will repay a total of $21.4 billion (EGP 335.58 billion) in foreign debts in 2021, according to the international bond bulletin issued by the Ministry of Finance.

Egypt is scheduled to repay $10.2 billion (EGP 159.95 billion) during the first half of 2021, and $11.2 billion (EGP 175.63 billion) in the second half of the running year.

In 2022, the country is scheduled to repay a total of $14.9 billion (EGP 233.65 billion)

Egypts foreign debts to Arab countries reached $17.2 billion (EGP 269.72 billion), including $7.5 billion (EGP 117.61 billion) to Saudi Arabia and $5.7 billion (EGP 89.38 billion) to the UAE.

The last instalment of Egypts current foreign debt will be in 2071.
