BUENOS AIRES- Mauricio Macri, President of Argentina, today opened the World Trade Organisation's 11th ministerial conference (MC 11) in Buenos Aires, with the attendance of the heads of state of three countries, as well as ministers and senior officials from 164 member countries.

A UAE delegation, headed by Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Saleh, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Economy for Foreign Trade Affairs, is participating in the conference.

Al Saleh stated that the four-day conference will discuss several topics, including non-agricultural market access, customs tariffs, services trade, fisheries subsidies and e-commerce.

He also expressed his hope that the conference will yield positive outcomes for WTO members states.
