JOHANNESBURG- Zimbabwe has kept its main lending rate at 40%, the central bank said on Thursday, saying inflation was moderating and the decision will help create and sustain the current accommodative monetary and financial conditions.

"The bank shall continue to review the policy rates in response to the downward inflation trajectory," the bank said in a statement.
