After his successful stint on the field as former captain and wicket-keeper of the Indian cricket team, M.S. Dhoni is set to enter another field: exporting vegetables from his farm to Dubai and other GCC markets.

All Season Farm Fresh, the Dubai- and Ranchi-based agency that will handle the sales, expects the deal to be concluded soon.

“We are in talks with Mihir Diwakar, Dhoni’s commercial manager, and we expect to sign an MoU soon,” Saiyad Shahin Alam and Abdul Hameed Khan, partners at All Season Farm Fresh told Zawya.

Preparations for the shipment of vegetables from the farm to Dubai are underway and are being overseen by the Agriculture Department of Jharkhand, Dhoni’s home state.

“We expect to receive the first consignment in February,” said Alam.

His agency will be distributers for the produce, which are organic, in Dubai and other GCC countries. He expects all leading supermarkets and grocers to stock the prestigious brand of produce.

Dhoni's farm house, located in Ranchi, cultivates strawberries, cabbage, tomatoes, broccoli, peas and papaya in about 10 acres of the 43-acre farm house.

Dhoni, considered one of India’s most successful captains, retired from international cricket in August 2020.
