UAE – Mubasher: Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) has awarded Petrofac oil company a $75 million contract for a procurement services project in the Mabrouk North East Line Pipe Procurement Project.

The contract was awarded under an agreement inked in 2017 to provide Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management, EPCM, Support Services for PDO’s oil and gas projects, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

"We have a strong track record with PDO in Oman and are delighted to have been awarded this latest project under the long-term framework agreement,” group managing director for engineering and construction in Oman, Iraq and Saudi Arabia, Elie Lahoud, commented.

Established in the UAE in 1991, Petrofac has 4,000 employees at its Sharjah locations.
