PwC Saudi Arabia welcomed 100 new graduates to its offices in the Kingdom, a 43% increase from last year. The new graduates are part of a larger pool of 333 new graduates who joined PwC across its 12 offices in the Middle East, as part of the firm’s continued confidence to invest in the region.

The Saudi national graduates come from top universities in the Kingdom and internationally and are equipped with diverse academic backgrounds including 28% with a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) background.

Riyadh Al Najjar, PwC KSA Country Senior Leader, said: “With increased confidence in the Saudi market, the outlook incorporates a continued strong commitment to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. Welcoming 100 new graduates is a milestone that proves PwC’s continued commitment to the Kingdom and its local talent as well as its contribution to the progression of women in the workforce.”

PwC Middle East People Partner, Emma Campbell said “We’re proud to offer youth in our region the opportunity to grow as individuals, to build lasting relationships and make an impact in a place where people, quality and value mean everything. Our strategy is centered around attracting, retaining and developing the best talent in the region and each year, our network of skilled professionals grows with possibility and potential.”

The new graduates attended an induction session in Dubai, during which they received an overview of the firm and it’s strategy and interacted closely with the Middle East leadership team.

This year’s induction theme is ‘Building our future - Together’. The theme stems from the strong focus of PwC in confirming its investment in the region, by building its people’s capabilities to ensure they are ‘‘business ready.” — SG
