Saudi Water Partnership Company (SWPC) has invited expressions of interest (EOIs) from leading contractors to conduct the site studies for various, potential independent water plants, independent sewage treatment plant and independent strategic water reservoirs projects.
 
The move is in line with Vision 2030, which recognises the critical importance of ensuring the future reliable provision of water and wastewater services for the quality of life of residents of Saudi Arabia, said a statement from SWPC {formerly Saudi Arabia's Water & Electricity (WEC)}.
 
The scope of the work includes preparation of topographic studies besides conducting onshore and offshore geotechnical and bathymetric surveys and seawater analyses.
 
According to SWPC, the winning contracting firm will need to get all necessary permits from local, regional and national regulatory authorities for conducting the investigation and surveys for teh water projects.
 
The last date for submitting EOIs is July 18, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
