Dubai: Dubai-based developer Omniyat announced on Sunday that it has started the handover of its commercial units at its 95-metre high Opus building in Dubai’s Business Bay.

Spanning a development space of 56,000 square feet, the Opus was entirely designed by late Dame Zaha Mohammad Hadid, said Omniyat in a statement.

Along with its function spaces, the Opus is also a home to several restaurants alongside the ME hotel, which includes 19 floors, comprising 93 high-end rooms and suites.

The opening of the ME hotel was put off to the fourth quarter of 2019, the UAE developer added.

“The idea of The Opus has always been one to create a multi-faceted experience for clients in one of the world’s most iconic architectural structure in Dubai’s ultimate commercial address,” said Mohammed Hmeid, sales and marketing director at Omniyat.

Omniyat has amassed investment portfolio of over $6.2 billion since its launching in 2005.

The Opus’ investment cost wasn’t revealed.
