Alsayah Square, a first-of-its-kind modern commercial and medical landmark, is coming up on a sprawling 100,000 sq ft area in the Muharraq governorate of Bahrain.

Located opposite King Hamad Medical Hospital (KHUH) and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), Alsayah Square will provide entertainment and medical services for residents of Busaiteen as well as people from Muharraq Governorate.

It will feature a range of carefully selected round-the-clock stores, including a supermarket, a pharmacy, banking and telecom services and international restaurants and cafes with ample outdoor seating areas intended to accentuate the dining experience, it stated.

The three-storeyed complex is designed to be the ?rst medical and commercial project in Busaiteen, said its manager CBRE, a leading integrated real estate services company.

Further, in recognition of the governorate's unique demographic, the third ?oor at Alsayah Square has been designed to house a medical complex.

The distinctive and wide range of services offered adds to the project’s objective of re?ecting the governorate’s image as 'a gateway to the world', particularly to those entering the country through Bahrain International Airport, it added.

Alsayah Square is the ?rst development project in Busaiteen that includes two drive-through units, one of which is allocated to an international restaurant and another to a cafe.

The provision of the shell and core drive-through units is in line with Alsayah Square’s promise to deliver easy access and comfort to visitors as well as offer potential tenants an opportunity to design the space as per their preference and requirements, said CBRE in its statement.

Alsayah Square has also taken measures to ensure optimal and responsible use of natural resources owing to its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals.

At the complex, sustainable practices that enhance energy conversation, such as thermal insulation, have been integrated during the construction phase, extending its bene?ts into daily operations. For potential retailers, this will translate into a signi?cant reduction in long-term operating costs, said CBRE in its statement.

Alsayah Square is set to not only cater to the daily needs of residents living in its vicinity but will also elevate and uplift their lifestyle. The management is currently in talks with several international restaurants and cafes, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
