Kuwait and Gulf Link Company wins $6.42mln contract

The contract is for the supply of fire fighting equipment to Kuwait Oil Company

KUWAIT CITY - Director of the Public Relations and Media Department at Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) Brigadier Khalil Al-Amir honored Kuwait National Cinema Company (KNCC) – Cinescape for its contributions to the activities and awareness programs organized by the directorate to prevent fire incidents.

Al-Amir made the statement Tuesday when he visited Cinescape, during which he met KNCC Advisor Hisham Al- Ghanim. He conveyed the greetings and appreciation of KFSD Director General Lieutenant General Khalid Al-Mekrad for the continuous support of the company to firefighters in the preservation of life and property, especially the recent cooperation, whereby the company showed several awareness clips aimed at preventing fire incidents.

Kuwait and Gulf Link Company (KGL) has announced that Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) awarded a contract worth KD 1.94 million ($6.42 million) to one of its subsidiaries, reports Al Anba daily.

In a statement to Boursa Kuwait on Tuesday, KGL said the contract was awarded to KGL Transportation Company, a subsidiary of the group. The contract is for the supply of fire fighting equipment to KOC. The company expects a return of about five percent (roughly KD 100,000) from the contract.
