Etisalat has announced the launch of 'Business App Store', a software-as-a-service (SAAS) platform that is the region's first software marketplace dedicated to consolidate all business applications for small and medium businesses (SMBs).

'Business App Store' features a wide range of business applications namely sales, productivity, finance, marketing, customer management and human resources, among others. The multiple Internet software vendors provide SMB customers the freedom to choose the best value proposition relevant to their business and pay on a monthly basis.

The platform provides a portfolio of business applications to ease the day-to-day operations and boost productivity of business customers. All data will be hosted over the cloud, reducing their capital expenditure costs related to hosting these applications on their premises.

Esam Mahmoud, Senior Vice President, SMB at Etisalat, said: "Small and medium businesses are the backbone of the UAE's economy and as part of our efforts to support this vital sector, we constantly strive to innovate and provide a wide range of products and services designed to suit their business needs.

“Business App Store is a testimony to our commitment to enable the digital transformation of SMBs. This one-stop-shop platform ticks all the right boxes to help SMBs boost their productivity and profitability, improve business outcomes and become more agile in the digital economy."
