Egypt - KarmSolar, a solar energy company, signed an agreement with Al Canal Electricity Distribution Company to distribute 10 megawatts in North Marsa Alam, Al Borsa News reported on May 4th.

KaramSolar submitted contracts that are signed by customers to obtain energy to the distribution company, and such procedure is necessary to approve the distribution of electricity.

Hotels and tourism sites are among the clients in Marsa Alam.

Established in 2011, KarmSolar is Egypt's largest private solar utility company. The company is specialized in power purchase agreement (PPA), energy cost reduction, off-grid systems, renewable energy, clean energy production, hybrid solar-diesel systems, design solar integrated facilities, EPC projects management, turnkey solar solutions, and solar water pumping among others.
