Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt has launched a new shipping line from Ain Sokhna port to Kenya’s Mombasa port, as part of ‘Gosour’ project, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported on Tuesday.

The first shipment includes 52 equivalent containers, representing over 50% of the target for the first three months starting from the launch of the shipping line, the Ministry of Public Enterprise Sector said.

The shipping services are provided weekly at low fares from Ain Sokhna to Mombasa.

The remaining services of Gosour project, including land cargo transport, customs clearance, and storage, are set to be launched in the second quarter of 2020.
